LOOK WHAT’S ON THIS WEEKEND…..

Bridport Food & Beer Festival

After a week of delicious food events around the town and surrounding area the Food Festival’s main event is at Asker Meadows on Saturday 18th June when they join up with the Bridport Round Table Beer Festival for lots of fun and flavours!

Entry is £3.00 for adults and FREE to children 16 years and under.  Dogs on leads welcome!

 

Local Producers’ Marquee

IMG_6180Saturday’s Festival is an opportunity to taste a range of delicious local produce and many tasty treats to take home.

In the lively Producers’ Marquee you’ll find the best food and drink from producers across the local area.

 

Beer Festival Friday evening and all day Saturday…. Cheers.

I’m in the Festival Tea Tent if you fancy a cuppa and a sit down!

Come and enjoy a delicious cream tea, scones and flapjacks, maybe a brownie, and the best cup of tea around provided by Dorset Teas and sponsored by Bibby & Legge and Leakers Bakery.

 

Cookery Demonstrations

A varied range of short presentations will be held in the Cookery Theatre throughout the day given by local chefs / suppliers. No pre-booking is required so just be there on the day and learn something new!

Children’s Marquee

Learn how to grow your own food in the Grow Your Own Patch with Tia, HOME in Bridport, and the children from St Mary’s School who have been growing the ingredients for their school lunches.

Also learn about Bridport Food Market ,Bridport’s new weekly Sunday food and farmers’ market offering the freshest produce, finest products and food-to-go from our beautiful corner of the South West.  There’ll be fresh salad, veg and herbs on offer at the Festival, along with information about their fantastic traders and how aspiring local food producers and new food businesses can take part.

Join in the carnival atmosphere and a whole host of delicious food and drinks, tastings and ideas from our professionals and fun for all ages.  See you there!
